Hachi. Japanese for 8. How do i know that? I have no clue.

I was lying in some kinda weird mechanic thing and saw two people around me. One was tall with long black hair and wearing a white robe. The other one was shorter and was wearing a white coat.
The only thing i could hear was, "The 8th is finally complete!"
"Sorry Master, I can't continue doing this..."
"Don't worry Doctor, this is the last one that YOU will help me with. Now that i know how to do this, i dont need ur help anymore!"
That's when i went unconscious.
 I woke up in a room. Filled with numbers from 1 to 7. What could that mean? Are there others like me? All i know is that i need to get out of here. I dont care where i go, just the hell out this place.

So my journey starts here. Looking for others like me. The tattoo on my chest that looks like an 8 will hopefully lead me to my missing memories. Oh look, im in some sort of town....
