Master Hitoshi

Past

A former travelling monk, the man recently known as Master Hitoshi, had decided to settle down and reside in a small village in Japan. On his travels, he would learn various forms of martial arts, and one he took quite profoundly was the ninjutsu arts. He created his own style, blending the various martial arts forms he knew and used it to his advantage.
He is quite a peaceful man, yet serious nonetheless. As he grew older, he discovered that he cannot travel like he used to and decides to settle in Japan, where he will teach those who want, and are willing, to follow his methods.
He was soon very popular in a small village where he stayed and became an official teacher there. The villagers then entrusted him to live and protect a nearby Buddhist temple. The temple itself was no ordinary temple, but a library to which the many schools of the village kept important documents and ancient scrolls. And as a way of paying back the village for accepting him, he did so.
After many years a young man came to the temple, wishing to learn his ways of fighting. Master Hitoshi saw much passion and spirit in the man, yet he sensed an unnatural amount of will to cause others pain. He declined to teach the man his ways, for he did not believe he would use it for the good, but for the bad. The man stood, glaring down at the elderly sensai. Hitoshi saw a fire blaze in the young mans eyes, a flame thhat burnt with anger and rage. He made an vow that one day he would come back to this very temple and challange Hitoshi to a fight, to prove that he was stronger and better at the arts. Master Hitoshi just smiled and waved a hand in the air, a gesture for the man to leave. Eyes ablaze and heart pounding with anger he turned on his heels and walked back down the trecherous staircase.
A year on Master Hitoshi was in the great hall of the temple as the doors burst open. There stood the man again, his eyes still burning with the same hatred and anger that fueled the blames a year ago. Hitoshi smiled wearily and welcomed the man. The man did not greet him back but instead started walking up the staircase. He spoke of fighting but Hitoshi saw something else in his eyes, waiting for the perfect chance, but still Hitoshi stood there smiling. The man rushed at Hitoshi, yelling and ready to attack. He stood there until the man was close enough to touch, without speaking he bent back slightly, crouching low, before quickly spinning on his back foot, sweeping the mans legs out from under him. Just as quickly Hitoshi placed his hands out, stopping the man from hitting the floor. In one movement the man was standing again. Master Hitoshi spoke with a clear, unwavered, voice, telling the man to leave now before some damage was caused to the temple. Once again the young mans eyes were set ablaze and he jumped over Hitoshi, who just stood there, and ran into the great library.Hitoshi saw his plans and ran after him.
Once in the hall Hitoshi saw the man grab one of the scrolls. This scroll was not like any others though, it even had it's own platform to be held on. The scroll held enough knowledge of the world mechanics to turn any mortal crazy, it was said to be written by the gods and could only be read, without damaging the mind, by a son of a god.
The man opened the scroll, his eyes scanning the writing. Master Hitoshi yelled a call of warning yet it went unheard. The man dropped the scroll, collapsing to the floor, holding his ears as if hearing some unearthly scream. Hitoshi ran towards the man as the flare happened. A bright white light, like heavenly rays, appeared in the center of the room. A dragging force started pulling him into the light, too powerful to even try and stop himself from moving. The young man, that had by this time collapsed in a crumpled heap, moved towards the light at an alarming speed. Hitoshi saw this and lept onto the floor, grabbing the mans legs, trying to stop them from moving, to no success. They both shot into the light as fast as an eye could follow. The light faded into nothing...as had the two men, the library left as if nothing had happened.
The next thing that Hitoshi knew was that he was falling...falling...falling. He saw a roof come into view and came crashing into it, bending his legs and rolling to prevent his legs from being fractured or broken. He looked at the new realm and went down the stairs that led from the roof with caution.
In the interior of the cabin he met a friendly lady known by the name of Mya. Slightly dazed, and still a little cautious, he just nodded. That was when he saw the shining scroll. He walked over to it, placing a hand on the crisp, dry paper. As he did so his mind was filled with knowledge of the realm, what to do, where to go and how to do certain things. He withdrew his hand slowly and walked out from the cabin into the new realm where his adventures would expand to even greater quests.....

Ignoring time itself, the eight corners were at the same time in all possible positions around the cubes center. Like an infinity of cubes sharing one common point, the perpetual state they reached needed a push, a spark, to bring them back in the flow of time so that they slow down to their initial shape nad live their present. For an insignificant moment in time the sphere was the shades view on the movement of all cubes, but from the lost cube in the grass to this one many mysteries remain to be revealed... ...
