Dazac

<< Back By Dazac
Dazac is a curious soul, always seeking more knowledge, wherever it can be found. He is a bit ignorant though, of the world he now finds himself in. A quiet person by nature, he's not usually one to strike up conversation. He can become quite talkative though, especially if an interesting topic is being discussed.

In the short time since his arrival, he has managed to find his way through the Labrynth, and map a good deal of it. He is still puzzled though, by the many things that are apparently to be spoken to, and he is quite curious what would happen if he knew the words to be spoken.

I am starting to see it now, that path I began to follow. No, wait, that is wrong. I look behind me and see the path, meandering its way far back. Back through forests and plains, hills and mountains, through time and space even as it changed and morphed. I look ahead though and see no path. Nothing there, not a single leaf or stick out of place. I look back again and realize, that is my path. I forged it with every step I took, and I will keep forging it with all the steps I will take. I am starting to see even more now.

Yes, there is more. So much more! An unending horizon ahead of me, and too many possibilities to count! I could go there, or there. There, over here, perhaps way over there by that pond. So many possibilities, I could weave back and forth as I went and would never know them all. What I do know though is that I can never go back. Once something is done, then it is done. No seeing what "might have been." Who would want that anyway? It would take all the splendor out of life, all the surprise, all the meaning. Ah, but enough of such talk. It is not but one mans opinion.

Oh, opinions. I love talking about opinions. There is so many!! There is mine, yours, his, hers, its, theirs, those folks, and this fine lass here, and that old fella there, all with their own opinions. It is simply wonderful to hear them all is it not? I find it quite exciting. And if you disagree with me, well that is quite alright. I have got plenty more opinions you just might like!

Well, look at this! They should have put a warning sign on that well! I slipped and fell in and now I am stuck down here! Fortunes Well, hah! They never specify whether it be good fortune or bad! Though, I certainly have found a fortune down here. A lot of coins, shiny and nice. Even more though covered it beautiful moss! It almost seems divine at times. Then, of course, someone tosses another coin in and it hits me square on the head. Well, if I ever get out of here I will want for naught, the material things anyway. Hmm, what could this be? Seems like a small hole in the wall down here. Not able to see too far so, no clue how far back it goes. Oh well, guess I will never know...unless...
