I am asleep. I have been dreaming. Dark tides wane to reveal Shades of Law. I've had stomach enough of the "Right Way" but the sea beckons for my soul. The sky pushes me away. The desert expels my strength. And though the forest gave me food I am Faol the Deceiver, Wolf of the Woods and Weaver of Chaos and I give it no thanks. It does what it will as I will do what I must. A choice word. A chancy look. I have my followers.

She never looks into my eyes. Why must the moon always gaze just over my shoulder. As though my past is of greater satisfaction than my spirit in the now. I'll slay enough for her. She is red. I am scared. Weak. Not sorry.
