\"The Legends of The Flame\"
Tags: 1. Keeper of The Flame 2. Wielder of The Light Description: I am the keeper of the flame and wielder of the light. I have been given a mission; to guide and protect the lost souls and to extinguish the evil winds that cover this land in order to restore the true light. By doing so I may be able to discover the truth of this land, of my past and of my future. Wishes: I am still a novice and do not yet know the extent of my powers, but I would need a spell so that I can guide, protect or cleanse the souls lingering in this land. I would also need a spell so that I can cleance evil and the followers of The Wind. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Prolouge: The Dream, The Flame And The Darkness Before me were a mighty flame, bigger than you could have ever imagined and brighter than anything I had ever seen. It\'s rays were everywere, it\'s heat kindly embraced me gently as a mother embracing her child. I had no worries, there were only me and the flame, floating in nothingness. I suddenly woke up, like I had just woken up from a terrible nightmare. Sweating all over I found my self crying. I tried to wipe my tears with the sleeve of my shirt, but I noticed I didn\'t have anything on me. I were naked, my soul stripped bare as I were floating in the gentle embrace of the flame\'s rays. I looked around me, but there were no one there, as it had alway been. Was it only a dream? I gazed upon the mighty flame and wondered what it could have been that woke me from my slumbers. As I looked I were amazed by the size of the flame, there were no beginning and no end to it. It engulfed everything, and yet, it maintained a distance, as if making sure not to burn me. A sudden gust of wind got me covering. I looked around me to try to find the source of the sudden gust of wind. Nothing. I looked back towards the flame and as I saw, horror struck me. \"Impossible! This can not be!!\" I screamed. The flame that once looked like it were endless, were it fading? Once again the wind struck me, but now it was continous. The wind was cold, and I could feel it\'s hatred and malice towards me, towards the flame and the light. I was sure now, the flame were indeed fading, fading in front of my very eyes. The flame I had once thought to forever exist. The flame that once warmed and embraced me were fading. \"NO!! This can not happen! I WILL not let it happen!\" I began moving towards the flame, waving my arms and legs as if it would help me getting there. My will drove me forward as the flame faded ever faster. By the time I got there, only a tiny fraction of the mighty flame remained. It was so small that it could fit into the palm of my hands. But no matter how much I protected the flame it didn\'t stop fading. I clutched the flame even tighter. I were freezing. It felt as my very core were turning into ice. I were going numb and my vision became blurry. I held the flame tightly towards my heart in an attempt to thaw my self. As the flame were about to dissapear, I once again felt a tear. I could no longer see anything. I were now covered in darkness and my consciousness were fading. At that very moment I suddenly felt a burst of heat, and I felt that I once again could see. Even though everything were black, there were a light, but there\'s no flame!! The light, comes from...me? I could hear a voice, an unknown voice, but at the same time strangely familiar. \"Young boy. I once illuminated this emptiness. My preccence reached everywere and my light could pierce the deepest of darkness as I protected everyone...everything...everywere...always. I am no longer, my light can no longer be a guide and the souls are being devoured by darkness... I am a failure.\" \"That\'s not right, you\'ve always protected me,\" I screamed out. \"And this light, this warmth that I feel, it is surely you, and I\'m not devoured by darkness, see?\" \"Hehehe...\" the voice laughed kindly. \"Young boy, that is your light and your warmth. The feelings and actions that you showed here ignited a fire, a fire stronger than anything...Young boy, I give you the name of FirceFire, you are the wielder of light, the keeper of the flame. Your passion runs deeper than any other soul and your will burns stronger than anything else. Seek the truth, guide the lost and cleanse evil.\" When I woke up I found my self lying naked in a flowery field underneath an unfamiliar sky. My name is FirceFire, and I have a mission. Chapter I: The Inn I sat up and got a look at my surroundings. How did I get here? I tried to remember what had happened before I got here, but \"Argh, my head hurts.\" When I tried to remember my head started hurting. I couldn\'t remember anything, my mind were viod of any past memories. I could only remember that strange dream. \"I won\'t remember anything by sitting around here,\" I said to my self. \"Now where should i go?\" But no matter where I looked, every direction looked the same. \"I\'ll go that way,\" I said and pointed in a random direction. I did not know why I chose that particular way, but let\'s just say it was a feeling I had. I had been walking for a long time now. I were sure that many days had past, but the sky remained the same, as if the very sky were an illusion. But that wasn\'t the only thing I had noticed. No matter how many days passed I did not feel hunger or thirst, and I did not need any sleep at all. I could see something in the distance, but I were too far away to see what it was. I increased my pace and headed towards the dark shape in the distance. \"It is not a tree,\" I thought as I got closer. The dark shape grew against the hotizon as I got closer. \"It\'s massive. A large rock perhaps?\" Something shone against me from the dark shape. \"What is that, a...a window?! It\'s a building!\" Before I knew it I were running towards it. I stood before the entrance. \"What a strange building, it\'s shaped as a giant helmet,\" I said to my self. On the side of the entrance there were a saign that said: \"Armory\" I went inside. It was dark. \"Hello, is there anyone here?\" I said while my eyes were getting accustomed to the new light. I could see chairs and tables, and what looked like a counter. It looked empty, no, there is something here. As I looked closer I could see shapes that resembled people, but their forms had begun to fade as I could see through them. I were still standing at the entrance when theese fading shapes noticed me. Their eyes were void of light and hope and it looked like they were just waiting for the darkness to claim them, as the darkness had once claimed my flame. As they looked at me I began to shine and life returned to theese lost souls. \"Ooh, it\'s the light, it\'s the light. It\'s finally here. The guidepost. The protector. It\'s here!!\" as strength returned to them their shapes solidified. They got up and surrounded me as I shone even more. \"Please take us with you. Our light. Our saviour. Without you we will fade away, we will be devoured by this land, by this sky. Guide us and we will follow you to the ends of this world.\" I looked at theese poor souls and I could see that the winds had deformed their pressence. They were deformed, part darkness, part human. \"Yes, I will guide you, as that is my mission.\" And as I said theese words we became one. They entered my soul were they were to forever be bathed in the gentle light of my flame. The inn were mostly empty now and I were tierd, more tierd than I\'ve ever been. I found my self a place to lie down in the corner of the inn and fell asleep. Chapter II: Danger? I do not know how long I had slept, I did not dream, but still, I felt refreshed. The inn were as it had been when I fell asleep. Outside, the strange sun stood in the same positioon and shone down upon me. There were two roads leading from the inn. The left one looked like it had been used more and so I bagan walking, hoping that I would meet something with a little more life than those guys back in the \"Armory\". After a while the scenery changed. To my right were a wall that looked like it could strech out for miles. I brushed away the hair that got in my face. \"Looks like the weather\'s starting to change, the wind\'s started to blow.\" Though even when I said that the sky looked the same. After a while more I got to a fence that crossed the road and I thought that there\'d surely be living someone nearby. But as I were about to cross the gate in the fence, I felt a strange sensation and jumped back as something barely passed the tip of my nose. \"Whoa, what was that?\" Something started to emerge from the gate\'s shadow. I lost my footing due to the suprise and fell to the ground. From every direction, from the shadow of the grass, of the wall and even from the shadow of the pebbels I were walking on, shady beings crawled out. The wind got stronger and the light grew weaker, even though there were nothing blocking the sun. The shades were wispering something. \"...free us...save us...kill...light...NO!\" It were getting dark now and I felt the familiar malice and hatred as it felt exactly like in the dream. But this hatred didn\'t come from the shades. I got on my feets again as the shades moved threatingly close. I needed to do something, but what? I started to think hard. I couldn\'t get away and I couldn\'t just kill theese poor souls. Even if that were the case I were unarmed, completely naked in fact and had nothing to defend myself with. I evaded a blow from one of the Shades, but couldn\'t escape the next one and recived a hard hit towards the head. I fell to the ground, unable to move an inch. The Shades stood around me, I were disoriented and my sight were blurry. Something broke the darkness. A shining light spread and I were suddenly surrounded by the souls that had joined me from the \"Armory\". One of them bent down over me and put his hand over my head. I felt a warm sensation and sat up. The pain from the hit were gone. \"I\'m a Barren Soul. I can heal,\" he said. \"Thank you,\" I said while holding my head, unsure wether I were still bleeding or not. I heard screams and all around me were fallen Shades. The Barren Soul went around and healed his comrades. \"You didn\'t have to kill them,\" I said and got up. I walked over to one of the fallen Shades and held it\'s head. \"I\'m sorry,\" I said, \"I couldn\'t save you...\" I began to cry as I bent over the corpse. A tear fell down on the shady corpse and as it did the corpses suddenly started to burn. The flames were warm, but they didn\'t hurt. \"What\'s happening?!\" my companions shouted. \"They\'re free. They can finally return.\" I said. \"Return to where?\" my followers grew uneasy. \"Who knows...\" Before the Shades disapeared completely, for a moment I belive I saw the true shapes of the Shades and I felt a sigh of relief in the air. They were gone. I got on my feet and said, \"Let\'s get going\" and then we walked through the gate as one. Chapter III: First Encounter I didn\'t have to go far before I could see the house. As I got closer I felt the same ssensation from back at the gate, but this time I were prepared. I tried to focus on the image I had of those that had joined me. A small flash and they stood around me. \"Well that was easier than I thought,\" I said, though this time the shades looked darker and more powerfull and I could not hear their voices like I could with the other Shades. The battle went on for what seemed like a long time, but no matter how many we slayed they just kept spawning from the house. I decided that it would be safer to retreat from the house and so we moved on, one step at the time while we mowed down the shades around us. Oddly enough, in all this mess I managed to take notice of a strange mark on the wall, well it sertanly were eyecatching though since the mark seemed to glow faintly. A spiral with a cross over it. \"Cutting?...Wind!! It tells us to cut the wind!\" Sadly, with the feeble powers that I posessed could not yet do something of that caliber. The Aramor on my left flank suddenly yelled \"The shades seem to shy away from that windmill, mabye we should head over there till we figure something out?\" The moment we got to the windmill everything turned black. I were covered in darkness. It was cold and gave a feeling of despair. I looked around and thought I saw something, something darker than black. \"What is that?\" I walked closer, slowly. I then stood before it and realized that it had the shape of a cloaked person. It was a person, right? As I looked where it\'s eyes and face shuld have been I felt drained, like I had no energy left. It streched out it\'s hand. I could not avert my eyes from his. It then opened it\'s hand and held something that looked like a small white cube. I knew I could not run. It seemed like it wanted me to take the cube. It took all the consentration I had to force my self to move my arm. Every cell, every fiber in my being screamed no, but I had no other choice. As I touched the cube I lost consiousness. Chapter IV: The Request

I have decided to stop hating people since it takes too much of my time as I stay up all night making woodoo dolls and reciting different curses. So from now on I will have a clean heart. PS: After effects of the curses may still remain, so if you annoy me and start hearing strange sounds at night, don\'t worry, it wont kill you...I think.
