Since the time of his birth he was, by necessity, a child of the night. As he grew, each stifling day turned into freeing night, and then each night regrettably turned back into day. Time passed as such as, in the eyes of his village, the boy started to become a young man. When he did there was a beautiful ceremony to mark the event with merriment and drink for all.
The moon had barely made its second round after his coming-of-age ceremony when, entirely unexpected, his mother passed away. On that night, the stars and moon wept, and even the darkness of night showed no promise of freedom from the burden of despair that the young man felt from her passing. However, unbeknownst to him, the night would once again herald a brighter time for the young man.

After his mother’s passing he took into possession her chest containing three items: a book, a dagger (both with inscriptions of the same foreign language), and a single black feather, as dark as the void. The meaning of these things he did not know, but he kept them close, for they were dear to him and the only things of his mother that remained.

As time passed he had no reason to be kept at home, so the young man took to traveling the world. Day in and day out he lived his life, though trapped in his own mobile prison. The armor sat heavily upon his skin, stifling him. While he wanted so badly for his body to be free, it was something that simply could not be so long as he tarried beneath the sun. His mother had made it quite clear to him that his father was part Mogwai, and as such, should the light of day ever touch his skin, he would surely die. The blessed night, this was his reprieve. A time when his body could be free, when his skin could breathe beneath the starlight, and he could finally stretch his wings.
During his travels he came across a Fallen One named Addy. While he was sure that he had never met the man before, he still felt a strange sense of familiarity towards him that he could not shake. They spent much time together and quickly became friends. It was from Addy that he learned about the history of the Fallen - the once great and wise warriors of The Holy One who were cast down because of the treachery that they had committed against him. After hearing this story of a people's woe, he vowed to himself that night to lead a path of love, tenderness, and care.

While giving this vow he noticed the words on the dagger he had worn on his hip since his mother's passing began to glow. The dagger floated up from his sheath and pushed itself into his heart, melting into his body and destroying a portion of him. But at the same time, he felt an incredible sensation of completeness, of becoming whole. Lying on the ground where he'd collapsed, he was unable to move for some time. He watched in horror as the sun rose, helpless to do anything but look longingly toward his armor. The stifling safety he'd known and loathed all his life was now his greatest desire.

He closed his eyes tightly and waited, and waited. Long after his eyelids had been illuminated from the light of the sun rising above, he waited, too fearful to open them. As the hours passed his fear abated and Gremlin opened his eyes. For the first time he felt the warmth of the sun on his skin as he laid onto his back in the grass beneath the blue sky, looking fully into the day. Gremlin began laughing uncontrollably and full of joy. He climbed to his feet and began to dance, kicking over his backpack – the book inside fell out of it. The words of the book glowed as bright as the sun, and they were no longer foreign to his eyes. The title read, “The Fallen.”

One day while flying he fell into a portal that landed into another realm called MD. Since his arrival he has met many people, but that only one that could make him happy was Mystic Siren. Through meeting these wonderful and kind people he became a Guardian of the Sisterhood, whom he will protect and defend with his very last breath, and also a security guard and graveyard shift bartender for Wind’s Pub. He has traveled to most places in MD, yet he calls No Man’s Land home because he does not want to be tied down to any one place just yet. As a very young creature he had not mastered anything but had a strong willingness to learn whatever he could in life, be it war, magic, peace, love, or nature.

After choosing Element some thought that he had traveled to meditate at Raven’s Peace. It was there that a Water Being came to him and spoke, "The Forest needs one who is willing to listen and help us during times of fire and also with the prevention of fire. Will you be this person?" He pondered upon this for quite some time and finally made his choice. "I shall protect this forest from the fires that may consume it." As he said this the Water Being spoke yet again, "Then I along the other creatures will consider you our Forest Ranger after you learn the Earth or Water element." After the kind Being’s words were spoken he spoke one last time, "Would you teach me the Water element O kind Water Being?" The being nodded and said, "Stay here with me at Raven’s Peace and I shall teach you all you need to know." It was then that his training for the Water element began.

After four long days of grueling training on the Water element from the Water Beings, the leader of the Beings came to him and spoke, “We creatures of Loreroot accept you as our protector, for you have mastered what we have taught you. Now go and protect Loreroot until death and seek one named Raven. You will know what to do from there."
This is Jade

One day during his travels he came across a Basilisk as he was walking by the Howling Gates. Not knowing if it was a male or female, he sought help from Walking Dead who then told him that it was a female. As soon as he found out that he had a female Basilisk, he named her Jade. Mind you, Jade is not his pet, as it may seem, she is nothing less than a loyal friend.

I ahve finally found me a stable job that I enjoy greatly, I am the lead massage therapist for the Root of the Matter Inn and the Wind and Rain Pub.
