Talos comes from a remote fishing village a few hundred miles to the East (or so he assumes since his ship was due west). He is a contemplative man who normally appears to have an intense countenance of thought etched upon his face. Very rarely will he pay any mind to his immediate surroundings, opting instead to retreat inside of his own thoughts and apply them to his environment. He is not the type to react visibly to a confrontation, but will wait until the moment is right and attack the individual when they are most susceptible. It is not clear if he has any ties towards the lighter fare of the world or its darker leanings, as he is not concerned with the roles of black and white absolutes in a life dictated by illusion.
If this man approaches you, and you wish to have some sense of privacy, be incredibly careful as to how you go about maintaining your solitude, as he will most likely deduce several facts from your demeanour and language alone. He takes great pride in his deductive skills and most often will utilize them in order to get to the heart of a story, no matter how long or arduous the process may seem.
He is often found in the strangest places, with no sign of how he managed to get there or for what purpose until he is prepared to give voice. By the large, he is very rarely a talkative, or even pleasant, person.
I had fallen asleep aboard our trading vessel and found myself within this odd land. Distressed that both my clothes had gone missing and the ship that I had come in on had left presumably due to the haste of the crew's trade, I decided that I would make the best of the situation and make an attempt at starting a life in this strange new world. My first impression of the area was one of utter shock; There didn't seem to be any solid commerce within the land, nor did there seem to be any sort of meaningful work for the inhabitants.
I observed several of the locals engaging in what I could only assume was the standard custom of the land as they pitted strange creatures against each other in some sort of gladiatorial combat. Being a man of rather simple means and having gained my esoteric education in secret, I was quick to learn the customs from a handful of the inhabitants and began my journey to integrate myself into their way of life.
Thus far, I have learned several things of the locals, but nothing that could possibly contribute to my being able to go back to my homeland. This, combined with my recent discovery that a man whose acquaintance I had made only a handful of times in the past has been imprisoned, has left me more than a little jaded and has given me a growing sense of disdain and the sense that others are filled with deceit. This growing paranoia may have caused the birth of my most recent social change and more than likely will complement my self-imposed task of hunting for information quite nicely.
As of yet, there is nothing I have learned about the locals that could possibly help me in any way shape or form, especially since a great portion of said information has come from beings immaterial.
Quests completed: Berserker Ball. (MP3/MP4/MP5), Labyrinth completed, Broken Gazebo solved. Also got into Loreroot, but I've come to believe that the general view of this act is as noteworthy as chewing your food before swallowing. Access to Dome, Necro, Weilder.

Ability: Face in the Crowd - keep from being noticed by others (Reasoning behind ability: Invisibility is largely thought to be through the process of refracting light so that it completely reroutes itself around an object, thus rendering it unable to be detected by the common eye. As such, considering Talos' affinity to the Principle of Light, the "bending" of light about his being would fit in quite nicely with his character.)
Item: Esoteric Suit - items of clothing that lend to luck and defense by altering the perception of the individual's relation to time and space. (Reasoning behind item: Talos' three main principles are Time, Light, and Syntropy with only a minor amount of Darkness. Combined, these elements create a microcosm wherein time and syntropy represent the expansion of the universe, light represents the relation of photons to the more innate workings of gaseous bodies, and darkness is the absense of being within small pockets, it would also add to the RP workings of the above ability.)

Talos' Hate List - Or a very empty page
I have no likes or dislikes. Only the strive to get to the bottom of why everyone has appeared within this realm.
Thus far I have heard theories stretching from Golemus to the Gatherers. Apparently there is a shipwreck without any explanation as to why it had appeared. The question remains, though. Why is everything structured the way it is? Why is there such an emphasis upon balance? Why would the Gatherers bother gathering any of us here? How many beings have the ability to travel back and forth from this illusion?
None of it makes any immediate sense, but I've been developing my own theories on the matter. None of them are concrete enough to put into practice, although I feel as if I'm getting closer to a larger answer. Each fact that I uncover raises dozens more questions, and each question continues to drill into my head with an unyielding fervor. As such, I have become a being of stealth, a "spy" of sorts in a world
of illusion cloaked within blinding light and shining darkly in a black
sun.
The only act that I can perform now that may make any difference is to become strong enough to find my way into the closed off and guarded areas of this realm, and perform as much research as possible and report my findings. The only true "dislike" that I may have is that I am not yet strong enough, though I feel as if I've come a long way from being a naked stranded tradesman.

With balance returned to the land, the people begin to feel a mysterious ease about the air that they hadn't felt before. The wise notice the shifting of clouds to original locations. More noticeably, there seems to be something moving in the sky... "The... the sun's moving! Look!" Someone points to the sky and many people begin clamoring. What could this mean for the freshly balanced lands? Time will tell. ...
