Prologue. Awakening.
Voices drifted around me as my mind pulled me into consciousness.
Images started to dance around me, awful images. Children screaming as flames dance around them while adults watched making no attempt to assist the young innocents. A cloaked figure whose face seemed familiar appeared everywhere and no where at once.

" The child is delirious" A mans voice pierced through the images sharpening my senses.
" I think not good sir! The inner mind is a wonderful creation something you should well know. Do not be so quick to dismiss its cries." A woman replied.
Her voice had a soothing quality which calmed my rushing mind. Almost as if she sensed my awareness the woman placed a gentle hand upon my brow.
"Hush little one. For you are not ready to awaken! Rest well for we are with you and shall keep you safe." Her voice had a power over me, each word pulling the blanket of unconsciousness over me once more.
