On the disbanding of the Caretakers

The caretakers are at this moment disbanded. I had no plans to disband them when i woke up a couple of days ago. Then a fun event happend, a hoard of vandals invaded the graveyard, and had a party there, "claiming" the land. You can equally invade a cemetary and pretend you are king of the dead, well it doesn't make you one.

This was ..alright, i mean i've seen worse in md. It was also jokingly presented as my doing, wich i initially took very personal, but then realised it was not a "mur said" abuse, so ignore it.

Then i realise the caretakers not only participated in this event, but they fully supported it... so i thought, well lets do an investigation, maybe i am missing something.

I should have provided well structured evidence before disbanding the caretakers, that was my mistake. I should have also probably be a lot more involved with this guild as its clear to me now that they completely diverged from anything remotely connected to what i was hoping they will do, and i am not sure where the info got lost. I think each leader and person that put effort into it, slowly slowly stopped caring for the past and went wild with the future. That would be ok in other cases, but caretakers are about remembrance.

Before showing you the detailed public report behind my decision to disband the guild permanently, i want to explain what should have been there. A bit late, but the core concepts are still to be respected and apply to the new form of "caretakers" that i will detail later.

The caretakers are about the memories of those dead, and about helping those in limbo to find their way (back, or forth, just one direction). Other activities should be those nobody else can do, like clearing up a murder scene for example. What came out of this, Ledah chief murderer leader of the caretakers. Graveyard ruined. No reviving, or helping dead to revive. Lots of dead weight staying in the guild just for the name.

I am talking about the activity of the guild THIS YEAR, not in general.

Aelis fell under this judgement, but lets not forget he had just 60 days to change anything with the caretakers, the rest of the months are the fault of previous leadership.

Why the graveyard was ruined?
The graveyard is the last wall between md and player frustration. They die, they are dead, things are not pretty, they probably arrive there after a situation they hate anyway, or are killed when they expected least.. now they have to wait a week or more to get revived... think of it. This is not a prison! the only thing possible to happen for them so this is both a test and a second chance (matching the ideea of revival) is if MD reveals a new location to them. Hope, mystery, curiosity all these flood, and suddenly being dead turns into a secondary journey. It is NOT an easy journey, it is a hard one, some will never pass it to get revived, but it is still a journey. Without it, killing tools would be just overpowered admin tools and i better turn them into jail tools directly.

From a caretaker that is also the main killer i would expected more understanding of this balance.

So the graveyard being spoiled for all of you meant the destruction of a mechanism. I spend lots of hours to fix it, gladly its almost done now, or at least in a few days it will be. Of course i can't tell you how i fixed it, that would ruin the suprise, but i can tell you that not even that help doing this and test this dont yet know it 100%

Ok so now the investigation. The rating is mine only, the research and text is AI hooked directly to entire md, looking up data like never before. This is a new investigator i've been working on as part of something bigger, but its good for this too.
