Character

Combat stats tap a row for its sources

  • 45.46 initial = 45.46

The plain force your creatures strike with when you send them into a ritual.

Treasure from won fights, where it is the cheapest of the nine to raise. Worn weapons lend it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

Damage is your attack less the target's defence, and most abilities start their sum from it. Your total is shared out across the creatures in your ritual, so the same attack goes further in a ritual of two than in a ritual of six.

  • 21.32 initial = 21.32

How much of a blow your creatures shrug off before it touches their vitality.

Treasure from won fights, at three and a half times the cost of attack. Worn armour lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

It is subtracted from nearly every incoming blow, so a defence above the enemy's attack leaves them doing the minimum of one damage. Like the rest, your total is shared out across the creatures in your ritual.

  • 16.66 initial = 16.66

The strength behind everything your creatures do that is not a plain blow.

Treasure from won fights, the second cheapest of the nine to raise. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

Healing, protecting, stealing life and poisoning all measure themselves against power and ignore attack entirely. Stealing life is capped at 20 percent of a creature, and an aimed hit at 25.

  • 10.75 initial = 10.75

How early your creatures move when a round opens.

Treasure from won fights, at five times the cost of attack. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

The whole field acts in order of initiative, highest first, so it decides whether you land a killing blow before the other side answers or after.

  • 16.43 initial = 16.43

How readily the realm's heat answers to you, in a fight and on the road.

Treasure from won fights, and one of the dearer of the nine. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

It is added to the heat you get for a fight you start, and a quarter of it is added to the heat of every step on your own land, or on any land while you belong to none.

  • 6.29 initial = 6.29

The realm's willingness to tilt a moment your way, or against you.

Treasure from won fights, but only on about one win in eight, so it grows in jumps rather than steadily. Clickables in the lands hand it out, and worn gear lends it.

On roughly one scene in three, luck finds you Winertia; luck below zero loses it instead. In a fight, luck on either side can double an effect or cancel it outright.

  • 11.96 initial = 11.96

How readily your vitality comes back to you.

Treasure from won fights, and by far the dearest of the nine to raise. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

It swells the vitality your house pays you on every refresh, by up to half again, with half of that reached at 2,000. After a fight, every creature you sent is brought back up to at least its regeneration as a percentage of its maximum vitality. Your regeneration is shared out among them like the other stats.

  • 11.93 initial = 11.93

Your nose for a price, and how hard you are to overcharge.

Treasure from won fights, at one of the higher costs of the nine. Worn gear lends it.

It takes up to 25 percent off a dwelling, a weapon and your house rent. The discount climbs fast at first and then flattens, reaching half its maximum at 750 and never quite the whole 25. It is the one of the nine the fight engine never reads.

  • 26.39 initial = 26.39

How well you hold together while crossing land that is not yours.

Treasure from won fights, at one of the higher costs of the nine. Worn helms and shields lend it.

Stepping into another house's territory costs you vitality, and your energetic immunity cancels that percentage of the loss. At 100 the crossing costs nothing at all.

Skills that only grow

  • nothing yet = 0.00

The weight of your own will, built by going where the realm pushes back.

Every scene you enter that costs action points. Going in above the viscosity minimum pays more than going in below it. The secured day streak pays as well.

Your share of a forge wish. There are five bands, from a tenth to a half.

  • 80 initial = 80.00

How far your character can still be reshaped. It starts at 80 for everyone and is only ever spent.

Nothing raises it yet. Every card you take by converting permanent stats lowers it by one.

The price of your next card. At 80 a card costs 10 points; each point of plasticity you lose makes the next card dearer (59, then 69, then 81 ...), and each point above 80 makes it cheaper, down to a floor of one.

I am Red/Green

.............Story Under Construction Constantly...............

Lyark was born on the Plains of Deciet. Abandoned there, he fended for himself. But by looking at him, one could not tell. They could not tell the hardships he faced, nor his age. Even more, they can not tell that he was once another form, that was much smaller and weaker then he is now.

Before he was human, before he hand nothing. No clothes, money, friends, or family. So on with our tale. As he grew, he explored further and further from the Eastern Lands and Plains of Deciet.

Soon, he found Marind Bell and traveled most of No Man's Land. But still he longed to explore the Land of Necrovion, the Forests of Loreroot, and to travel to Golomus. But he could not.

One day, on his many travels, he came upon something strange. It was cold and black. It was Dark Slime. He visited and watched it everyday, not knowing why he liked it so much. Then one day ,something strange happened, something so strange and amazing. He went closer to the Dark Slime and dared to touch it. Unable to defend himself, the slime ensnared him. It grabbed around his neck, waist, groin, and arms slowly smuthering his body. Some slithered into his mouth and through other openings and began to change him physically and mentally, maybe even spiritually.

The slime made muscle appear and grow larger on his body, even lyarks own body grew larger and more powerful.. Fur covered him, senses heightened. The slime outside developed into a cloak, guantlets, and cloth. He became stronger, faster, and meaner than before let alone powerful. Lyark ran to Willow's Walk and looked down into the water. He was some sort of lion creature.

Horrified by this sudden change, he continued forward until he came to Hersey Lane. Once there, he stayed in the Hermit's Hut for years, maybe even deacades. No one really knows. One day though, he decided to come out. He walked on to Willow's Walk, looked into the water at his reflection and was shocked to find out he hadn't even aged.

So he continued on past The Howling Gates to Necrovion, beyond the Battle of Ages, until he came upon the Paper Cabin. There, his journey started.

Led by an enchanted parchment, he made his way into this world now called Magic Duel. There he met a wonderful woman called Madalina, a vampire. She wished him luck and was off. Soon he gained creatures and became highly interested in them. As such, he began researching them. He was destined to become King of all Beasts. But he is not without help. Agis, a simple friend he has made, whom he found easy to talk to.

He met Mya Celestial and Chewett, who took their time to answer his many questions. He quickly found comfort in them. Zeliphnier, his mentor, gifted him with an Angiens. His new mentor, gladly heard him out. Amoran K Kol sold him a Joker. He even found a Scout out in the open. Awiiya, a story teller, and gardner, had gifted him with a magnifying glass.

With so much happening in so little time , he felt reassured. So he forged onward in his quest to become King of all Beasts;to unlock the secrets of this land. While the road ahead is going to be long and tough, he forges on, not caring.

To complete his new life, he now calls himself Kahn and with that he moves on wondering why it seems he hasn't aged. What do the creatures have to do with this world. Why do so many diffrent creatures live here in Magicduel?

He does not know the answers yet, and he may never will, but now things are diffrent. Kahn, King of the Beasts, will no longer hide. He will not move. He will not stand down. But, he will be heard, and indeed have his own way. And soon his adventure unfolds, or at least begins.

Of late, he has gained access to Necrovion, and Loreroot temporarily and managed to even obtain creatures from those lands. But, after years of solitude, he feels uncomfortable in very quiet locations, preferring to hear whats going even if he says nothing himself. But soon enough, he gets used to the off and on sounds of the lands.

But of late dreams have bothered him.Standing there he sees a great tower of some sort. And insnaring it are tendrills of darkness and night. Both seem to heal and break the tower in their own way,as they fight each other. But both are being controled. The darkness by a large lion like creature, his fur and mane replaced by the dark tendrills. The other is a small weakling human who summons the light from an unknown source. Both fighting for control of the tower.

But Kahn can only watch helplessly unable to control what happening. It seems he is connected to the ground waist up,and unable to move. The dark and light tendrills begin to swarm him, to try and control him.But the darkness seems to be winning, and it end there.

At this point Kahn wakes up with a terrible headach and bangs on his head trying to clear it.Feeling as if two forces are trying to control him, like a parasite. It feel him with mixed emotion of wanting to destroy all traces of human,or not becomming some mad beast. And he can only watch helplessly.

And other events take the roles as well.Seeing many being carrying there own weapons,he feels the need to have his own.His choice,an axe.Talking over with agis it seem it an extesions of one body and so he begins looking, not expecting to go so fast. The next day Rasiel take an intrest and begins helping him search starting with The Battle of Ages. They then moved onto The Plains of Deciet, well after some searching and chatting they did fine the axe.

One coud say this axe is alive

This is the axe.It is acient with blue runes, that holds some kind of enchantment. It is too heavy for any human to lift with 2 hands.

Rasiel levatated it and axe grab it.Soon after Agis joined them and with a small test,it was to heavy for him to even lift! But soon Blood came and things got freaky. When Rasiel touched the axe it shut down her powers and shot her with lighting.

Rasiel at this point merely lashes out feeling powerless and vunerable.Much to Kahns dislike Blood and Rasiel countue argueing, and so he sits hopeing it'll pass and lord and behold he goes into sudden hibernation.

After a few months, mabey 2, of sleeping kahn wakes back up even stronger then before as AGis says anyways. Kahn can now completly shift into a lion and make his clothes dissappear, which if you recall are an actual part of him.
