Character

Combat stats tap a row for its sources

  • -124.51 initial + -12.71 weapons + 60 territory + 4 alliance = -73.22

The plain force your creatures strike with when you send them into a ritual.

Treasure from won fights, where it is the cheapest of the nine to raise. Worn weapons lend it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

Damage is your attack less the target's defence, and most abilities start their sum from it. Your total is shared out across the creatures in your ritual, so the same attack goes further in a ritual of two than in a ritual of six.

  • 44.97 initial + 17.75 weapons + 25 territory + 4 alliance = 91.72

How much of a blow your creatures shrug off before it touches their vitality.

Treasure from won fights, at three and a half times the cost of attack. Worn armour lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

It is subtracted from nearly every incoming blow, so a defence above the enemy's attack leaves them doing the minimum of one damage. Like the rest, your total is shared out across the creatures in your ritual.

  • -5.59 initial + -0.56 weapons = -6.15

The strength behind everything your creatures do that is not a plain blow.

Treasure from won fights, the second cheapest of the nine to raise. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

Healing, protecting, stealing life and poisoning all measure themselves against power and ignore attack entirely. Stealing life is capped at 20 percent of a creature, and an aimed hit at 25.

  • -64.31 initial + -5.15 weapons = -69.46

How early your creatures move when a round opens.

Treasure from won fights, at five times the cost of attack. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

The whole field acts in order of initiative, highest first, so it decides whether you land a killing blow before the other side answers or after.

  • -77.60 initial + 40 alliance = -37.60

How readily the realm's heat answers to you, in a fight and on the road.

Treasure from won fights, and one of the dearer of the nine. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

It is added to the heat you get for a fight you start, and a quarter of it is added to the heat of every step on your own land, or on any land while you belong to none.

  • -16.72 initial + 20 territory = 3.28

The realm's willingness to tilt a moment your way, or against you.

Treasure from won fights, but only on about one win in eight, so it grows in jumps rather than steadily. Clickables in the lands hand it out, and worn gear lends it.

On roughly one scene in three, luck finds you Winertia; luck below zero loses it instead. In a fight, luck on either side can double an effect or cancel it outright.

  • 853.06 initial + 59.71 weapons = 912.77

How readily your vitality comes back to you.

Treasure from won fights, and by far the dearest of the nine to raise. Worn gear lends it, and some shop and reward items grant it.

It swells the vitality your house pays you on every refresh, by up to half again, with half of that reached at 2,000. After a fight, every creature you sent is brought back up to at least its regeneration as a percentage of its maximum vitality. Your regeneration is shared out among them like the other stats.

  • -21.04 initial + 50 territory = 28.96

Your nose for a price, and how hard you are to overcharge.

Treasure from won fights, at one of the higher costs of the nine. Worn gear lends it.

It takes up to 25 percent off a dwelling, a weapon and your house rent. The discount climbs fast at first and then flattens, reaching half its maximum at 750 and never quite the whole 25. It is the one of the nine the fight engine never reads.

  • 40.90 initial + 2.45 weapons = 43.35

How well you hold together while crossing land that is not yours.

Treasure from won fights, at one of the higher costs of the nine. Worn helms and shields lend it.

Stepping into another house's territory costs you vitality, and your energetic immunity cancels that percentage of the loss. At 100 the crossing costs nothing at all.

Skills that only grow

  • 392.85 initial = 392.85

The weight of your own will, built by going where the realm pushes back.

Every scene you enter that costs action points. Going in above the viscosity minimum pays more than going in below it. The secured day streak pays as well.

Your share of a forge wish. There are five bands, from a tenth to a half.

  • 28 initial = 28.00

Your grasp of the map, and of the shortest way across it.

Touching any of the 25 pillars. Each pillar pays a given traveller once, and never again.

The action points every move costs you. It comes off the cost, down to a floor of one.

  • 62 initial = 62.00

How far your character can still be reshaped. It starts at 80 for everyone and is only ever spent.

Nothing raises it yet. Every card you take by converting permanent stats lowers it by one.

The price of your next card. At 80 a card costs 10 points; each point of plasticity you lose makes the next card dearer (59, then 69, then 81 ...), and each point above 80 makes it cheaper, down to a floor of one.

Writings

A way i see the world Comments on self

Why this symbol? Its not because it looks damn good. The story began long ago before the plans of this game, a story that i wont tell. What i want to tell is that the roots of all this are more stable than one of just a website somewere on the web. It might be that in time these roots will fade and very few of the inittial people will still exist but i do my part in keeping the legacy in the form of this community and assure that its path will be the right one and that it will not get tainted by religion, any particular tradition, cults, and so on.

Lectures / Public Debates
You find my lectures documented here

http://magicduel.invisionzone.com//index.php?showtopic=4338&st=0

I will hold new lectures if the demand for them is high enough or occasionaly. You may request a lecture on one of the subjects i usualy handle.

- I like to look at little things and understand their greatness.
- I like to observe my enemies untill i can understand their reasons fully, then decide again if they are my enemies or not.
- I like to follow my dreams regardless of other people reactions to them.

Funny:
*CrazyMike*: @Mur, make yrself visible!
Willem RedBeard: Unbeliever! You don't need to see Mur to know he's there *grins*

Religion:
NONE, no not "my own" just NONE, i keep an open mind and thats all. All religions speak about the same thing , its just the way they do that differes and how far they decide to stop seeking. Asians went a bit more deeper in this, christians stoped seeking long ago, but eventualy any religion puts an end to your searches and stops you from researching the true "god" thats actualy you.

"Neither shall they say see here or see there, for behold, the kingdom of God is within you" (Luke 17:20)

---------
Random things:

What do I do sa a role? I give special abilites and game roles to those worthy of it. In other words i create RPC or PWR players....but pm-ing me about your role will only put you far back on my list. I hate PM's of any kind, they take much precious time away from me and keep me away from working on game features and improvements, so if you want to pm me about something, first think if you can ask that thing to someone else before you bug me. There are guilds or players for almost any kind of thing you could require.

Sometimes i play as an other character...what character... you will not allways know, because i use to change it or temporarly takeover other characters for my own personal selfish FUN.

There is one thing i enjoy more than playing this game and that is to continuosly DEVELOP it.

I have a strange logic about reinforcing rules, i am not protecting anyone more than anyone else, but i do have my own reasons how i apply punishments and promotions and i will not allways disclose that logic.

RPCs have diplomatic immunity so if an RPC says one thing and a regular player sais something else, the authority of the RPC will be more important. If you ever want to say something against an RPC you should find strong arguments and preferably gather more voices on your side. RPCs are equal in front of me, even if some have more important roles than the others.

You can email me for payment related issues, if you are a very talented artist, or if you see code errors in the page.

oh and should i mention that strange things can happen in a palce where i am at? thats because because i usualy stay in game to work on things...so you stay around me at your own risk :P

Mastering the Void

Be smart Military ways and beliefs

IF YOU FIGHT - use the nemy strength in your favor, high vitality means they are vulnerable to steallife and large armeis mean they are weak to single creature attacks....or sort of ... :P ...i will probably rewrite this to make more sense IF YOU UNDERSTAND THAT THE GAME IS MUCH MORE THAN FIGHTING - get a role, its hard, but will place you among realy special people. Even without an official MD role you can play your own role in this game world, and by doing so you will not care about losing or winning fights anymore. The fighting stops at MP5, so think there is a reason why there are just 3 levels out of 7 that allow you to fight and the others are about something else. Losing all the time - so what? you die? your creatures die? you lose stats? read the fighting article Next video is for testing of youtube stream

Page 43 · Golemus Wizard quest - Ak.

After climbing several hours Akasha finaly reaches the top of Mount Kelle'tha.
Thinking at first that they are huge rocks, she discovers a circle formation of piramid shaped buildings,
looks like a temple of some sort. As she looks at those constructions she realises that something is
casting a big shadow on the entire plateau. Slowly she raises her head and looks to the sky...
