 The Beginning

The only thing worse than bad memories, is no memory at all.
                                                                                                               - Unknown

There's not much I can remember of my childhood. I mean, I can visually see some memories, but I have no connected feelings to them or the people in them. This leads me to assume that my memories are in fact not real. This doesn't bother me at all.  However, what really disturbs me is why my memories are illusions or fakes.  Were they replaced because I saw something of high importance? Did I do it to myself watching a traumatic event? Perhaps a combination of both?  And if so, do I really want to remember it all over again?  These questions and more haunt my thoughts daily as I produce no answers to them.  Thinking about such things for too hard, too long makes my head start to throb... which leaves me to wonder if that's what's supposed to occur when my thinking is on the right track... ugh! Is there never an end to this constant self torture?

My earliest true memories are that of the Paper Cabin.  I don't remember why I was there or how I got there.  Everything else feels fake before the point I touched that scroll.  Ah the scroll, like honey to my lips while reading that scroll.  Like a child follows his mother, I followed the scroll.  It directed me, and I followed obediently, unquestioning, unknowing what I was stepping into. I was taught and learned much from the scroll.  I was given a map of the entire realm from the cabin, which I studied and memorized.  I was told of and met creatures that would fight for me after being bound to my very soul.  Them and me, intertwined in the tapestry of fate.  I was again unquestioning as I was bound to my first creature, an Aramour, and he was bound to me.  I could sense his presence in me as if we were one, yet separate.  Like two minds in one body.  Neither of us were fighting for control over my body.  He knew his place, and his role and accepted it, and I knew and accepted mine.  Then came the Barren Soul and another Aramour.  None of us had to speak, we just knew.

I then headed to go back to the Paper Cabin, and on the way I was attacked by multiple Shades, each time they were getting stronger... but so was I.  All of a sudden I looked up and the sky started getting darker and darker.  At first I thought it was a storm blowing in but I thought that was highly unlikely due to the fact that there was no rain.  All of a sudden the darkness was becoming blackness, enveloping me, sapping my energy.  Quickly I realized that this wasn't just any blackness, this was a numerous amount of shades, all encircling me, studying me, getting closer.  It was then that I heard it.  The unearthly sound of blade clashing against blade, steel against steel.  I never heard anything like it and I hope that I never will again.  I was getting disoriented with every passing second, I was unsure if I even had my eyes open or closed because there was no difference.  And then just as they were about to close in on me, they stopped.  I stood there for what seemed like hours deciding on what to do.  Should I call out to them? Fight them? Run?

Just as I was about to speak I saw something move... at least I think I did.  Its hard to tell when a shadow moves in the midst of other shadows but somehow this was pure darkness, which was darker than dark.  I saw a figure much like a cloaked man.  He stepped ever closer, footsteps never making a sound.  I was in shock and awe of him.  There was a reverence that I felt for him at first thinking it was from the many shades then quickly realizing it was from me.  Every moment he was coming closer I could feel my heart beating faster.  Then, when he got close to me, he stopped.  He then quickly and silently held up a glowing white cube in his hand almost offering it to me.  I didn't know what to do.  I could either accept it or run.  If I ran, he could easily have overtaken me.  Where would I run anyways?  My best choice would be to take the cube.  Once I do touch it though, what would happen?  I had to chance it.  So I reached out, and I took the cube tenderly and carefully.

The cube was then engulfed by a darkness.  Then something like a veil went over my eyes and I blacked out.  I awakened and was surrounded by darkness once again.  I looked around noticing that there were no more Shades and felt peace.  I remembered seeing a drawing on a wall similar to that of a swirl with an X through it and immediately in my mind I envisioned a blade cutting through wind.  I began feeling my hunger and my loneliness.  I also remember seeing a windmill, and started getting dizzy.  Then I saw what appeared to be 3 lights flickering.  I tried moving closer to investigate.  Next thing I knew I was falling to the ground again.

I awoke to blackness and quickly realized I was blindfolded.  Taking the blindfold off I saw I was in a darkened and wooden room.  This was unlike any other room however.  There were no windows, no doors, no way of entry or exit.  As my eyes were adjusting I quickly concluded that there were 3 candles in a corner of the room, along with a little girl.  As I walked up she noticed me and asked me to play a game.  I politely asked her what kind of game and she suddenly looked sad.  She then put a smile on and simply asked again if I would like to play.  I said sure I'll play with you and suddenly she became mad and filled with a rage.  I looked at her horrified and fearing for my life reiterated that I would like to play.  She then went back to being calm and said that the game is for me to find out who killed her and to avenge her.  Suddenly more blackness.

I opened my eyes and realized I was in the middle of a circus.  Everyone there looked joyous, happy, and content.  I began walking around contemplating about everything that had happened.  I looked in my hand feeling I was holding onto something.  What I saw made me cringe.  I was holding a small wooden cube.  I started wondering if the cube was where I met that girl and I started getting a visual of me coming out of the cube and it made me sick.  Quickly I put the wooden box into my pocket and sat down.  After a little while I was feeling better so I stood up and turned around.  Out of nowhere I saw a clown with a mallet about to hit me.  I didn't know what to do so I froze horrified as the mallet was inching ever closer to my head.  All I heard when it hit my head was a squeak.  I suddenly heard laughter all around and soon realized they were laughing at me.  Embarrassed I put a sheepish grin on my face.  I then promptly took the mallet and examined it.  It was made of a light wood and was fairly well crafted.  I contemplated hitting the clown back with the mallet many times but decided against it.  I handed him his mallet and much to everyone's amusement he walked off hitting himself in the head with it.

Thinking that I had enough excitement for one day I started looking for any sign of an exit.  I started getting annoyed at the music, it started sounding fake and everybody was acting the same.  I didn't trust it and wanted to get away as far as possible.  I then started walking, getting further from the music, where I found a refreshing fountain.  Splashing water on my face and drinking from it refreshed my body as well as my soul.  I started wondering where I was and from my map I guessed I was in Marind Bell.  I didn't want to, but I knew that I had to leave the fountain.  I finally mustered enough vitality and I left the fountain.  I walked and found a gate that I had never seen before.  Walking though it I felt free and that my adventure had just begun...

On My Own Now

Walking around I have explored all of no-mans land and have met a lot of people.  I helped a couple people at the cabin and quickly found that I enjoyed helping people.  It was... fun to say the least.  There were people there dedicated to helping everyone called LHO's (Live Help Operators).  Perhaps I will one day become one but only time will tell.  Over my travels of No-mans land I have gained more creatures to bind with me.  I met a slime shade near the Gazebo of Equilibrium but could not defeat it due to its sheer power.  Perhaps when I am stronger I will go back.  I also saw 4 guards, 2 of which were like trees guarding a powerful place.  The other two were guarding Willow's shop and I am told that there are weapons and armor in there that will aid me.  Perhaps I can defeat them soon.

After walking past a boat, the MD university, Winds Sanctuary, The fountain of Dark Vibrations, and going through a gate, I came upon a Labyrinth.  I was highly intrigued by the Labyrinth so I entered.  I had a plan to make it through alive.  I followed the left side of it all the way.  Always making left turns whenever possible going deeper and deeper while drawing my way on the back of my MD map.  I had to stop numerous times due to exhaustion yet I kept through it and persevered.  I met MRWander who offered me a way out but I had refused politely.  I had the determination to make it through myself.  By the end of the 3 hours, I had made my way through to the end.

I was so relieved that I had finally found the exit and I had almost fainted after realizing my fatigue and hunger.  I decided to rest at that time so I took a very long nap after snacking on some cheese and crackers.  When I awoke I was disoriented.  I didn't know where I was or how I got there.  I found out later that I was in Golemus Golemicarium or GG as everyone calls it.  I went to the very top of Mount Kelle'tha after a long treacherous hike.  After seeing the top of Kelle'tha I was humbled.  I then learned of the Kelle'tha Order which is dedicated to protecting the knowledge of all the lands of MD.  I aspire to join them, even though it is very difficult to get in and stay in. I believe that it would help me greatly in my quest to find and/or remember my memories.

After exploring GG some more I came across a cave.  I felt almost a sense of belonging there.  I do not know why but I feel that this mountain was calling to me, calling to my soul... or my soul was calling to it.  Exploring more I came across a bridge but unfortunately could not cross it.  After fully exploring GG I came across the King of GG, Yrthilian, as he was taking a walk.  He gladly teleported me to the GoE.  I hope to be able to do that on my own one day as well as pass through the Gate of Ages and the bridge.

Since I was now familiar with the land around me I decided it was about time to get familiar with the people around me.  I started talking with a few people I had seen and that I respected.  I then met Amoran K Kol who at that time was known as Amoran, and I completed a riddle that was on her quest page.  Unbeknownst to me, it had already ended but she gave me her spell document reward anyways due to the fact that I had got it on the first try.  I also read on a sign about a Vampire quest which I decided to start upon.

After growing in my fighting abilities and gaining more creatures and experience, I decided to attempt one of the Willow guardians.  I had been defeated once by him but I was not at full capacity at that time.  This time however I was successful and was overjoyed.  Almost as if he knew, I was told that Bob was blossoming.  I went to the path of loneliness and met Bob the tree.  His presence was greater than that of anything I had ever felt.  Bob wasn't big, or menacing, but I could feel its love and its compassion.  I had a feeling Bob was very great at one point, a tree of trees, but something happened to Bob to make him like he his now.  I knew I wanted to protect him.  I also met Zleiphneir who was Bob's guardian.  He said once I proved my willingness to protect Bob then I may have a chance to become a Guardian of Bob or a GoB as Z likes to say.  I then started Z's Livingston quest and his Cubicity quest which was harder than I thought.

I then met Sasha Lilias who showed me the archives.  I had never been there because it was further down than the labyrinth and I never went past it.  I was given two scrolls of my own.  One is the page that I am currently writing this on.  The other was a page for others to know my hates and to watch out if they were on it.  Behind the archives is the gardens and more gazebos.  In one of them there is a broken puzzle that I was able to complete for a Wishpoint.  After more training I thought I was ready for the second guard.  And I was.  I had finally defeated both of Willows guards and got to explore Willows shop.  I bought a few items immediately and couldn't buy the rest due to their high price.

Then I thought that if I could defeat them that I surely could defeat the Loreroot guards.  But I was wrong.  I suffered a huge loss but that was ok because I learned from it.  Later on I found the Berserker's puzzle and I bested it.  After completing the Berserker's puzzle, I found a secret tunnel leading to the underground.  I explored it and found a new gazebo, and a secret shop.  One day I will have enough to buy those high priced yet very valuable items.  But not today.  Then I was told of the torch contest.  Necrovion was now open to all with a torch so I chanced it.  I grabbed a torch from Winds Sanctuary and went on my way to the Howling Gates.  I was scared and held the torch close to me and fortunately I was not harmed.  I explored as much as I could in Necrovion and was satisfied when I had gotten a point for No-man's land.

I then started as many quests as possible, and will continue to do so for as long as I am able.  I wish to be in the top 5 with Wishpoints as soon as I can.  I had a fallout with Ledah at Bob and successfully defended him.  When Z heard of what I had done he appointed me a GoB.  I was exuberantly overjoyed and felt that I could successfully defend Bob for a very long time.  I then was able to participate in the upcoming heads contest for MP3's.  Once I had many heads after I timed an attack perfectly, I went back to GG through the labyrinth.  I immediately became first place but gradually lost rank due to others having tokened creatures and more skill than me, and also I got teleported by someone back to the GoE.  I had placed fifth in the contest in the the end, but that's ok because now I know the dynamics of it, and will be better at the next one.  The Festival of Pain started soon after and I haven't really received any pain as of yet.  I did however receive a Joker, two Angiens, a gold coin, 2 silver coins, and 10 credits.

Ever since the heads contest and my return to GG my headaches have increased.  I thought them unimportant up until now but lately I have been getting 3 to 5 daily and increasing in pain.  I am currently at the GoE writing this in the grass and I feel another headache coming on so I may need to stop.  This has been my life since touching that scroll, and I hope that I will be able to continue and complete my quests and find my lost memories.

The Vision

I went to the cabin and met a friend who I had not seen in a long time.  I then started getting a headache again and she gave me some black tea.  Nothing had ever taken away my headache so fast as that tea.  However when I stood up I started getting dizzy.  The whole room started spinning faster and faster, colors merging. until suddenly my whole entire vision was white.  All of a sudden I was up in the air.  I could see for miles upon miles.  I could hear a great thundering sound but could not figure out where it was from.  It was like far off thunder, yet it sounded as close to me, that I could almost reach out and touch it.  Then suddenly I was diving, getting closer to a great body of water.  I got scared and could only watch myself plummet faster and faster.  As I was about to hit the water, I closed my eyes.

Surely I had died right?  I felt no pain.  Nor any impact of the water, though I could still hear the thunder.  However, listening closer I realized it wasn't thunder.  It sounded more like the flapping of wings.  What size wings could make that much of a thunderous noise? I decided to open my eyes and what I saw struck me with such awe that no words can describe.  I saw, in the reflection of the water, a green Drachorn that glistened like none other.  It was breathtaking.  At first I thought it might be holding onto me or the person that I was seeing this through, but I somehow knew that I was that Drachorn.

All of a sudden I looked up into the sky at the sun and was blinded.  When I could finally see again I realized I was no longer flying.  I was trapped in a cage and surrounding me were other cages of similar size.  In one of the cages it looked as if there were bones cleaned right to the marrow.  No more meat on them, no blood, nothing but bone.  It was a Drachorn, of that I was sure.  I started panicking but realized that I could do nothing but watch.  All of a sudden these little people came out of nowhere.  They opened the cage and at first I thought they were letting me go free.  I was wrong.

It was feeding time and I was on the menu.  I could see it in their bloodthirsty eyes.  The first one bit into the Drachorn's wing.  The Drachorn let out a bloodcurdling screaming sound, then it retaliated.  It spewed fire at the little people.  They were in shock, as if this had never happened before, and then they started running around.  Their high pitched voices making the Drachorn cringe and get ever angrier.  It started flapping it's wings, gaining new strength from an outside source.  It blew through it's cage and started sweeping up the little people with it's wings.  It then flew through the cave and soared out into the open sky.  Yet again, I was blinded by the sun.  It was then, that I woke up.

My Story Continues

It's been awhile since I wrote in here.  I have met some very interesting people throughout my days here in MD.  Most notably Awiiya and Handy Pockets.  They daily take it upon themselves to water the seeds around MD and take care of them.  I have joined them on occasion and wish to join in on the daily ritual in the future.  I wrote a poem for the Willow Seed which is in Kets page of poems.  Mur-mas is coming up soon and I am looking forward to the celebrations.  There was a Winter Formal that had just passed and I admittedly was a bit late, but I had an enjoyable time there.  Mur had some cookies for all of us the other day which I felt enhanced all of us in various ways.  I also made up lyrics to the tune of 12 days of Mur-mas for a contest put up by Z.  We shall see my placement in it.

So far, I have acquired 4 Wishpoints in MD.  I opened up the back entrance to Loreroot and have explored it, and along the way I have gained Loreroot creatures.  I also achieved the locate spell, gained access to Sage's Keep, and reset my exp.  The Locate spell is of no use to me at this time due to me not in possession of an Erolin device.  Sage's Keep is now my place of rest.  It is fairly silent and calming, yet it can make the best sounding echoes.  After resetting my experience, I was able to upgrade my creatures further, and have finally beaten the first of the two Loreroot Guardians.  I look forward to gaining strength with my new-found creatures from all over MD.  I have realized that I want to become a creature collector... rather possessor.  There are many various types of creatures that have joined me, and I cannot wait to have the rest join in with my quest to find my lost memories.

Ah finally, Mur-mas.  The one time of the year where the GoE's top gets thrown somewhere and instead there's a tree there being decorated slowly over a week or so.  Mur was extremely generous this year, giving away wins, and exp for my companions, and even a rare creature to some if they were lucky.  Some have said that they gained a bull creature.  I am currently waiting for confirmation on that.  I myself got a maxed Pimped Grasan which was pretty cool.  MRD was handing out drachs to those who he thought deserved them, and he forgave some who were in the wrong.  He has gained my full respect.

My Story Continues Yet Again

So I haven't wrote in this for about a year now... a lot has happened throughout the last year though, so I guess I should write about them sometime... not today though.

Hate is a strong word.  Although it does accurately describe how I feel about people that do the following:

I hate quitters.  If you start something, finish it. Simple no?
I hate un-loyal people.  If your not loyal, I don't trust you and don't want you around me.
I hate hypocrites.  If you do something after telling someone else not to, I won't listen to you.
I hate liars.  If you lie, I can't and will not trust you for a VERY long time.
I hate people that hate Bob.  If you hate Bob, deal with it by not walking by him and not making GoB's protect him.
I hate people that hate everything.  If you hate everything, you'll miss the good things and good people around you.

That's enough of the hate, now for my achievements and stuff :D
