A Fox of the Night...
I was just a humble fox spirit who wandered the forests of Loreroot. One day though, I had to wander out of the gates past the guardians in order to save a family of foxes under my care. It is in that No Man's Land that I was struck by an errant spell in the battle between the forces of good and evil. I would have died there, if it wasn't for a wandering Golemnus Mage. I was thankful for the rescue, but I soon learned that this man was a rogue mage doing illegal animal experiments. He exposed me to deep dark magics that originated in Necrovion in his laboratory. These magics stained me as black as night and gave me almost human intelligence. Both cursed and blessed with this power, I escaped from his laboratory back into the wild. But, now I do not know if I still belong in Loreroot as disfigured by darkness as I have become. Do I fight for my homeland or do I now join darkness? That is the choice I must make in the future....

"No YOU! Die for what you believe in!" Yrthilian blocks the shouts about who would be the sacrifice from his ears to read the documents. A short passage excites him, and he raises the page to the others. "There's a loophole! Wodin has already been summoned here once! All we need to do in order to have him back once more is perform this simple spell!" They all gather in a circle to chant the incantation. A bright light forms at the center of them, and a tall figure begins to take shape. "MASTER!" Wodin is back. ...
