No One hears faint whispers and sits up quickly, eyes wide and looks around but only sees the barren trees. The whispers continue, vague yet insistent. Shadows play at the edges of his vision which then draw closer to No One. The whispers are now louder and change, becoming hissing, moaning, screeching… Eventually, No One cannot distinguish his screams from those of the shadows… ...
