Decrees of the realm

The first ruling of the second reign of Her Majesty Queen Syrian

On 13 October 2026 Syrian was crowned Queen of Necrovion again, after the land had stood closed for more than ten years. The leader of a land decides what happens in that land, so three days later the Queen sent Muratus del Mur the changes she wanted. Each one was checked so that it shapes Necrovion and its own people, and takes nothing from any other land or its citizens. All of them were made on 18 October 2026 and are in force now.

1. Citizens keep their action points

Since June 2021 every walk in Necrovion took all of a traveller's action points. Now a citizen of Necrovion keeps them. A walk still costs its usual price: only the loss of all the rest is gone.

This holds on every walk inside the land and on its doors in and out: the Howling Gates, Berserker's Charge and the tunnel to the library. Visitors still lose all their action points on these walks, unless they carry pass papers (see 2).

Why

The drain was laid on a land that had no people. Necrovion has a Queen and citizens again, and they must be able to live in their own land.

2. Necrovion Pass Papers are valid again

Whoever carries Necrovion Pass Papers keeps their action points in Necrovion, like a citizen. The papers work just by being in your inventory. There is nothing to use, and handed to another player the protection goes with them.

  • Eight copies are with the Queen, to give to whoever she chooses.
  • Four copies lie in the Deathmarrow Repository, in Deathmarrow, Capitol of Necrovion. Only citizens of Necrovion can take them. A citizen can hand one to a guest. Like every shared item, they go back to the repository at the shared-item reset.

Why

So that the Queen and her citizens can welcome guests into the land.

3. The Stone of Twisted Souls is closed

Only the kings and queens of the realm may walk to the Stone of Twisted Souls now. Anyone else who tries is turned back and loses nothing. Spells and items cannot carry anyone there either. Whoever stands at the Stone can still leave. The surveyor's obelisk and the radiant stone are inside it, so they are now for the rulers alone.

A king or queen of the realm is whoever holds a "King of", "Queen of" or "Demon of" title. Today that is Queen Syrian, Aia, Chewett, Miq, Dark Demon and Muratus del Mur.

The Stone is Necrovion land, as it always was.

Why

The Stone of Twisted Souls is the land weapon of Necrovion.

4. A way up to Deathmarrow Overlook for the kings and queens

In Deathmarrow, Capitol of Necrovion, "A distant crevice" now takes a king or queen of the realm up to Deathmarrow Overlook. From the Overlook the Ascent is an ordinary walk. For everyone else the crevice stays as it was.

The way of the Shades is untouched: five shades must still answer together.

Why

The rulers of the realm get their own way to the high places of Deathmarrow, and those who want the Shades' route can still walk it.

5. The Howling Gates

The dreamcatcher that carried travellers to Deathmarrow for fifty heads is gone. The old warning that the Death Patrol kills trespassers on sight is gone too.

The ways into Necrovion from the Gates are now "Enter Necrovion", and the shade's passage while it is open.

Why

The Queen closed the passage that was bought with heads. The warning spoke of a time that has ended.

6. No jump is lifted in most of Necrovion

Spells and items that move people, such as chase, summons and movebind, now work into and out of Necrovion. It works both ways: someone inside the land can also be pulled out of it.

These places keep No jump: Trial of Agony, the Stone of Twisted Souls, Deathmarrow Overlook and the Ascent, and a few rooms that are not open to walkers.

Why

So that the Queen can call her people to her, and friends of the land can reach it. The places that keep No jump keep it because their gates would mean nothing otherwise.

7. Item collecting at Accursed Growth

Accursed Growth (outside) now allows item collecting. There, items and play cards can be taken by their transfer code, and /giveitem works.

Why

A place in the land where things can be handed over.

8. The way into Field of Fear

The walk from Accursed Growth into Field of Fear now costs 12000 action points. A traveller can reach it with boosted action points, or be summoned in by someone already inside, since No jump no longer holds there. The way of the dead into Field of Fear is unchanged.

Why

Field of Fear is no longer shut, only hard: hard to reach alone, possible together.

9. The Death Guard

samon and redneck now hold the title Death Guard. The Death Guard Horn, which calls everyone who wears that title, is in the Queen's hands. Every earlier Death Guard keeps the title: membership was given for life when the Death Guard was founded in 2012.

Why

The Queen named her guard.

10. The Tainted Warriors return

The Tainted Warriors, the alliance of Necrovion that was disbanded in March 2016, stand again. Queen Syrian is its first member and its appointed leader, and she invites the others.

Why

The Queen asked for her land's alliance back.

These are the Queen's rulings for her own land. Questions about them go to Queen Syrian. Recorded on 18 October 2026 and told in the News: The first ruling of the second reign of Her Majesty Queen Syrian. The crowning: Necrovion has a Queen again.
