The Rise of The Archaics
It wasn\'t always so empty and meaningless in this forsaken world. Once there had been a thriving race and a magnificent kingdom that stretched over the vast green mainland for many miles. A race called \"Archaics\" and quite possibly the first and most pure of all races to ever grace the planet. The Creator to which many Archaics pay tribute to had been the one to form the race from nothing and bring about its brilliant existence, therefore it was only right that a God such as this was seen worthy of devotion. Archaics were near immortal, not affected by age, disease, nor any fatal wounds a mere human would normally die from. A perfect race in almost every way with an utter absence of almost all emotions thus allowing Archaics to judge rationally and come to precise decisions with a moments notice. The First of these Archaics was Rej Archaium, perhaps the most powerful Archaic. Destined to become the Lord of all Archaics and unite the world under one banner, Rej Archaium was doomed to carry a curse shortly before completion of such a daunting quest.
An unwilling Burden
A Tale such as this has no room for complete hope and perfect harmony. The Archaic Kingdom was destroyed by a undeniable beast. A demonic monstrosity that held the power of a Dark God and the Blood Lust that only utter annihilation would be able to sate had quickly decimated the entire Kingdom. Despite the power of the Archaic Race, the nightmarish fiend layed waste to all in its path. The slaughter did not last long and a quick decision was made to bind the horrendous fiend in the only Archaic powerful enough to hold it without succumbing to its twisted will. Rej Archaium had become an unwilling target that the Archaic Council would use in order to seal away the corrupt creature.
A Lonely Wanderer with a determined quest.
Now traveling alone with only his power, mind, and a sealed horror within him, Rej Archaium, First of The Archaics, searches for a handful of Adepts that would aide him in completing a Quest that could change the world forever.
