Bug fixes
What players found wrong in the realm, and what is true now that it is mended.
Every bug report is read and checked against the realm's own records, and a real fault is fixed. From time to time a round of fixes is told in the News, and every round is kept here, newest first. Found something wrong yourself? Tell Live Help in the game, or read how to report a bug.

The first round
21 reports fixed, 27 to 29 September 2026 told in the News
The first round of fixes told this way, from the first two days of graded bug reports. Each report below was checked against the realm's own records, fixed, and answered to the player who sent it.
Chat 3
-
Drunk and enchanted at the same time
Being drunk and enchanted together no longer replaces a message with one glued word. Any two chat effects now work on your words together, and two other faults found in the same place were closed with it.
-
Reading back through the scene chat
The scene chat keeps your place when you scroll up to read older messages, and follows the conversation again once you scroll back down.
-
Room to write a longer message
The chat box grows as you type, up to five lines, and returns to one line when the message is sent. Words wrap whole instead of breaking in the middle, and a language spell that kept its drinker from chatting at all was mended too.
Screen and controls 3
-
Searching a page no longer restarts the game
On a computer, opening the browser's find bar or making the window shorter no longer reloads the game. It reloads only when the window's width really changes.
-
Actions and Heat, easy to read
The Actions and Heat readouts on the bottom bar now sit on small parchment labels and read clearly on any background.
-
The Live Help tab stays where you left it
The orange Live Help tab stays in its corner after the game reloads, and opens the chat only when clicked. Its cross, or Hide Live Help in the chat menu, puts it away.
Side panel 2
-
The Use button is back in view
On windows narrower than 1600 pixels the bottom of the side panel, where the Use button sits, was hidden. It is in view again, in every browser.
-
Closing an item in the side panel
The X on an item in the side panel closes it again on windows narrower than 1600 pixels, instead of opening the Progress window. An invisible box that swallowed clicks in the same corner is gone.
Phones 3
-
Public logs on a phone
In Firefox on a phone, a long entry in the public logs was drawn larger than the rest. Every entry, on every page of that menu, now keeps the same size.
-
Uploading an avatar on a phone
The avatar pages were rebuilt, and on a phone the upload page no longer runs under the side panels.
-
Your messages on a phone
A long list of stored files no longer pushes your conversations a whole screen down. The inbox opens on a small Stats tab, and your files wait under Storage.
Fights 2
-
Stat icons on the fight result
The stat icons on a fight result are back to their small size, beside the others.
-
Attacking someone behind a Creature Shield
An attack on someone behind a Creature Shield shows a proper notice with a picture and says who is protected, instead of an unfinished line. The same notice appears when your own shield keeps you out of a fight.
Cauldrons 2
-
Giving a cauldron its instructions
The instructions screen of a cauldron no longer shows an error window every few seconds. Every cauldron in the realm was affected.
-
Cauldrons hear the enchanted
A cauldron now understands a player under an Enchanted Drink. The drink's golden flourishes used to hide the words, so no request could match.
Forge 1
-
Forge omens tell the whole chance
The omens now show the whole chance of an enchanted result, the forge surge included, so a 0% can no longer hide a real chance.
Spells and travel 2
-
Oak Tower and Sage Keep spells cost what they say
Enter Oak Tower and Exit Sage Keep take one cast each time they carry someone, and none when they carry nobody. The five Tunnel Advance spells had the same fault and were mended with them.
-
The Exit of the Influence boards
The Exit on the Influence board at the Summit of Mt. Kelle'tha leads back to the Summit instead of one step further down. Two other Influence boards had the same fault and lead back correctly too.
Companions 1
-
A companion that wants something shows it
The companions list says when a companion is ready to ask for something, instead of showing it at rest until its own page is opened.
Quests 1
-
The Three Coin Hotel note
The note in the Three Coin Hotel no longer offers guests a builder's testing button that was never meant for them. It had left the hotel's guests out of step.
Items 1
-
Imprinted Dark shadows free their places
An Imprinted Dark shadow that has run out no longer keeps one of the realm's forty places until the daily cleanup. The fastest makers now rest a day between shadows, so places open far more often.
