Diary Entry #1
Well... Sounds like I should comment about myself, isn\'t it? How troublesome. But I\'ll think of something. Not now, thou. :: yawns ::

...Okay, then. Let me start.
The only absolute truth in the universe is change. Yes yes, I know the paradox involved in this assertion. Change is everlasting. Unstoppable. Unpredictable. We are always in a constant state of mutation. Even those who claim to be immortal mutate. Immortality is not in a particular existence, but in the role played by that being.
I\'m an observer. A foreigner. My only wish is to understand. I see many striving for roles. I know not if there is such a wish in me. A role imprison you to a circle of fated actions. You\'re bound to repeat yourself. Look at mythology.
There are rules that command each world. But what many can\'t seem to realize is that rules can be bent. Some may be broken. For every rule there is an exception. If there is a wish in me is to find these exceptions.
For now, It is enough.
:: Faust is a strange sight. His most outstanding features are his complete baldness, his tanned skin and light-green eyes. Dressed light with a white cotton shirt, brown leather pants, leather stripped brown sandals and always carrying his backpack, he can be most found smoking and reading a book. Strangely the book never seem to be the same... This leads to a question: Is the book that changes or that apparently normal backpack holds some sort of secret? ::

As I see it there is no connection between Light and Good or Darkness and Evil. This is a gross misconception. Those who dwell in the dark might be kind of heart and overall good. Those who shine in light might be vain, egocentric and evil. Truth be told: even Good and Evil are close to impossible to define. Thinking of a person to be one of them is only a matter of perspective.

The story of how I learned about magic is quite long. I\'ll address it in time. For now, I shall explain why I was once called a Blood Mage. As I see it, there is only two ways to evoke enough power and bend reality at your will, which is the definition of magic. Gathering strength of your surroundings or gathering your inner strength. I follow the second path. I learned that blood is the essence of life. Through blood, your power can be channeled.
One of the first tricks I ever learned was a defensive ritual. I unlock both Imagination and Time Principles to use it. It is True Seeing. With this I\'m able to see probabilities of future. The Time Principle allows me to move forward time and the Imagination Principle allows me to do so only before my eyes. As Time is not a single thread for each being, but a thread is created for each choice made, I can only see probabilities. Certainty is given only to Gods, not to men. But... I\'m working on it. Oh yes, I forgot. How it is that I do this magic with blood if only affects my eyes, isn\'t it? It\'s rather simple. I bite my thumb and make a line of blood horizontally on my forehead. With the principles opened, the third eye opens.
How to open the principles, you say? That I\'ll leave to another time...

I see too many individuals lurking for knowledge and power. That is troublesome. |
